Who We Are:
Voom provides marketing services, graphic design, printing (digital, offset, and large format), laser etching, as well as promotional products, to small, medium, and large businesses. Though you may have found us on the internet, we are not to be confused with an “internet printer”. While we do offer the same services you will find elsewhere on the internet, and our pricing is very competitive with those companies, we do not believe that our customers’ needs fit into their boilerplate template world. We offer limitless options and individualized solutions. Your company is not like other companies; you should not look like other companies in your marketing efforts. Company History
The Voom Group was founded in 2002 by Erich and Wendi Schlarb. Our vision was to create a company that can service all aspects of our customers’ marketing, graphic design, and printing needs under one roof. We have grown from our original garage shop to our current 15,000 sq ft state-of-the-art production facility in Plano Texas. Along the way we have employed the most skilled, creative, customer oriented people, and the latest equipment in our industry to help us make our vision a reality.
The Voom Group currently produces marketing, graphic design, and printed products for over 400 companies. Our clients are in very different industries, ranging in size from a single owner/operator to fortune 500 companies, and have very different goals, however we continue to evolve and find unique solutions for their needs. Though we started as primarily an offset printer offering marketing and graphic design services, we successfully launched digital print in 2004, wide format printing in 2008, mailing services in 2013 with the acquisition of CSM Printing, and in 2016 we added laser engraving and started our promotional products offerings. In 2019 we expanded our large format department.
For the last couple of years we have been focused on improving processes, replacing virtually all of the software that we use to run our business, and launching Voom Express our online ordering platform with extensive investments in process improvement and backend workflow automation to fulfill our orders with lightning speed and accuracy all while reducing overhead.
Voom is a family, in so many ways. We are proud to have two of our three kids working at Voom too - Ben, who is instrumental in our prepress department as well as developing Voom Express, and Alison who had to learn to sleep over the sound of a press running 10 feet from her bedroom when the shop started in the garage at age 3, is taking care of customers in customer service, but everyone working at Voom feels like family.
