The Man Behind the Curtain, Bob!
If you have ever visited our shop for a tour, you have probably met Bob. Now our Production Manager, Bob started with Voom running our 2 color press after answering an ad on the PIA job site. He was relocating from Los Angeles to Dallas looking for a better place to raise his family, lucky for us, his search led him to Voom.
In a couple of short weeks, Bob will be celebrating his 12 year anniversary at Voom, so he has seen, and gets credit for, a lot of our growth. Not only is he managing the entire shop and all of our production employees, Bob is hands on and can run just about every machine we have, and on any given day, he might do just that.
When it comes to dedication, it is hard to find anyone so personally invested in every project we do here. Bob is usually one of the first people in the office in the morning and is not unusual to still see him at the office late in the evening. Not only did Bob come work for us, so did his wife, Diane, and at one point or another he has even brought their daughters Robyn and Jordyn in to help with big projects, truly a family affair.
What off-time?
When Bob isn’t at work he is keeping up with the Cowboys, which may be a more difficult task in their current state. Volunteering at the AAC on game days and concerts, he is forced to be at the Mavericks games and as a Lakers fan, this can be problematic. His two daughters, now in college, keep him young and his empty nest house keeps him busy with the honey-do list.
For your many years of service and dedication to Voom, we salute you Bob for making our Voom world a better place. Dilly Dilly !!!
